Amending, withdrawing or deleting an application
What to do if you need to change or stop it
You can't withdraw an application to register a financial service provider after you've submitted it to us, but you can amend it beforehand.
Amending an application
Before you submit your application, you can still make changes to it.
If you're logged in to your account, you'll find your pending application under My Unfinished Business on your dashboard.
If your FSP is registered on another Companies Office register
If details in your application have been sourced from another Companies Office register, you must update that register first. For example, if a director's address has changed, you must update the director's details on the Companies Register first. The changes you make will be updated overnight on the Financial Service Providers Register (FSPR).
If you decide not to submit an application
If you've started an application to register an FSP and decided not to proceed, the application remains in My Unfinished Business on your dashboard for 30 working days. If you don't make any changes during that time, the application is automatically deleted.
Withdrawing an application
After you submit your application, you can't withdraw it.
If you decide that you no longer want to be registered, you can apply for voluntary deregistration.
