Uploading documents to the Financial Service Providers Register (FSPR)

The size and type of files you can upload

Our online services accept only some file types and the files must have a combined size of less than 20MB.

Uploading document files

You can only upload the following types of files:

  • Portable Document Format (PDF)
  • Microsoft Word formats — DOC or DOCX
  • Rich text format (RTF)
  • Audio Waveform (WFD).

Reducing the size of files

You can reduce the file size of scanned documents by re-scanning them with lower quality settings. The document must still be legible and print clearly — 300 dpi is usually clear enough.
